“Ruah – THE BREATH OF GOD”
“And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues of fire, which parted and came to rest on each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.” (Matt. 2-4).

From the beginning of humankind’s existence, God has sent his Spirit down on his people. In sacred scripture, we see this beginning with Abraham and on through the prophets and kings right up to John the Baptist.
Then the New Covenant began in Jesus, the Son of God. It continues in His Body, the Church as well as in the entire people of God. That means we and all of our brothers and sisters of every color, nation, race, or religion. Jesus died, rose from the dead and ascended for all his people. The breath of God fills us all.
